Aldrin Navo.com: The Blessing of Applying Godly Wisdom

What can we say then? Wisdom is not “knowing good and evil” but wisdom knows how to differentiate from evil and it is the ability to sift through what is good and what is evil. Wisdom shows us clarity and we need today it more than ever. Keep acquiring it from God’s Word without fail.

How to post to Facebook, Twitter after you die – CNN.com

imagesThe Scriptures declared it clearly: “All go to one place. All are from the dust, and to dust all return” (Ecclesiastes 3:20 ESV).

Here’s an interesting news that deals with death using social network to announce it with a special message: How to post to Facebook, Twitter after you die – CNN.com.

After reading it, my first impression was “Wow, another great idea?” and “Somebody has thought of this already? While for some it seems surreal yet death is a reality and an inevitable event for all living beings. Even batteries dies… In this case, it can be replaced with a brand new one.

Can life be replaced after it dies??? Hmmnnn….here’s what the Scriptures said: “…And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment…” (Hebrews 9:27 ESV). There are those that does not believe this, but it will not change what the Scriptures said that will occur. One may wait and see but are you willing to take the chance for eternity just because you don’t believe in the afterlife of heaven or hell?  As for me, I’ve made my choice and that is to believe in what Jesus said: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,

and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

(John 11:25-26 ESV).

I will not take the chance but become secure in His promise. How about you???

The Two-Fold Mandate of the Church

  1. Carry On the Mandate of Jesus, Luke 4:18-19
    • “…Proclaim good news to the poor…”
    • “…Proclaim liberty to the captives…”
    • “…Recovering of sights to the blinds…”
    • “…Set at liberty those who are oppressed…”
    • “…Proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
  2. Carry Out the Great Commission that Jesus gave, Matthew 28:18-20 ESV
  • 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
  • 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
  • 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

The mission of the Church is to save the souls of men. That is its true mission. It is the only mission of the Church. That should be its only thought. The minute that any church admits a singer that does not sing to save souls; the moment a church calls a pastor who does not preach to save souls; the moment a church elects a deacon who does not work to save souls; the moment the church gives a supper or an entertainment of any kind not for the purpose of saving souls, it ceases in so much to be a Church and to fulfill the magnificent mission God gave it. Every concert, every choir service, every preaching service, every Lord’s Supper, every agency that is used in the church must have the great mission plainly before its eye. We are here to save souls of dying sinners. We are here for no other purpose, and the mission of the Church being so clear, that it is the only test of a real church.—Russell H. Con-well.

My Thoughts: Chick-fil-A’s gay marriage stance causing a social storm

Chick-fil-As gay marriage stance causing a social storm – This Just In – CNN.com Blogs.

Although I have not been in any of its branch to taste their famous chicken, knowing their stand against gay marriage will make them more popular to both sides of the issue; to the opposing side, their chicken will leave a bitter taste while to the supporting side, it will become tastier.

What’s wrong with taking a stand nowadays? Our society have become so politically correct that many traditional beliefs are eroding like this one. Also, speaking out in public and making a stand about a hot button topic like gay marriage will surely get you into trouble as it has become evident on Chik-fil restaurant. Here’s what has been said by the Chick-fil President,

“We are very much supportive of the family – the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that,” Cathy is quoted as saying.

Reading this statement, is it really sowing hate to stand for traditional marriage as opposed to gay marriage? Just like many people from both sides of the issue, I think he was being open and proud of what they have and who they are. Just my thoughts and personal stand on the matter.

Just thought of sharing this very interesting news.

Please click this link : Does the ‘God Particle’ Disprove God? | eChristianNews.com.

A great read to understand of the new level that science has reached  so far…Yet it will only prove that God’s power is yet to be discovered but cannot be understood by finite minds…

But this is a great discovery of biblical proportions as some would say…And it only goes to show that there are more mysteries that anyone of us could ever fathom…

Praise God for His Omniscience…Enjoy it!
