I personally believe that this is a clear testimony of patient endurance exhibited by such a determined man. Just imagine that his disability was no match against his persistence to see himself compete not just in the Paralympics but also in the London Olympics as equal among other athletes. Truly a remarkable man!
Let’s cheer him on as he not just represents his country, South Africa, but many others also that has the same dream. That fact is this: we may not all be selected to compete as he does but I believe we can all learn a lot from this great news and such a man like Oscar.
Let’s all agree and declare that if he can do it even with such disability as a stepping stone to greater things, then nothing is impossible to those that believes! If he did not allow it to become a stumbling block in his life, what’s our excuse? “Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it’s always your choice.” – Wayne Dyer
